172: Tracy’s Top 12 Can’t Live Without, ADHD Resources

Jul 8

Many people who know me would describe me as a tough critic–just ask my kids–but I like to think of it as valuing excellence. This means that when I do recommend a product or service, it’s only because I believe in it so much that I want to shout it from the rooftops.

In this episode, I’m sharing my list of rooftop-worthy ADHD hacks that have completely transformed my life. From organization to productivity to home care, these resources have helped me manage the more difficult aspects of my ADHD, leaving me more time and energy to focus on my strengths. At this point I truly couldn’t make it through the day without them, they’ve had such a positive impact on my ADHD brain, and I think they’ll make a big difference to yours too.

Quotes:

"I’m learning so much more, which is really firing all those good neurochemicals. It’s giving me so many more ideas and I feel so much better at the end of the day when I’m more actively participating in what I’m taking in rather than just mindlessly scrolling Twitter or watching Dateline on television."

"If I have to think about what folder I might have put something in first it just makes me anxious all the time, like I’m going to lose that note because I don’t organize things like a linear brain would."
-  Tracy Otsuka

"Whatever it is that we want, that we want to happen, that we want to do more of, we need to figure out a way to get rid of the resistance."
